Frequently asked questions
What are the dimensions?
The size of the combs can vary but generally they are about 13.6cm in length and 3cm in width.
How do you dispose of the comb?
The comb can go in your home compost.
Are the bristles sturdy?
They are similar to a plastic comb in sturdiness.
Is a bamboo comb or a wooden comb more eco friendly?
We would say a bamboo comb because the bamboo grows quicker and can therefore be more easily replaced. Trees grow more slowly so they require more resources.
Is there a label on this comb?
No, there are no sticky labels on this comb. It is not individually packaged in a cardboard box. If you ordered just a bamboo comb, it would arrive on it’s own in a green jiffy bag. Minimal packaging!
How do I look after the bamboo comb?
It is generally very easy to look after. The only warning we’ll give is not to leave the comb in a puddle of water for long periods of time. Since it is such a natural product, it could go mouldy if left in a wet, humid place. You can use it on wet hair and while in the shower, just make sure you dry it afterwards away from water.
How long does the comb last?
With proper care, it can last years. It is good quality and premium, natural bamboo so you can expect it’s lifetime to be long.
